Acer's Aspire 2930 uses Acer's Gemstone design for this top notch ultraportable, powerful, notebook that is high spec for both mobile and home entertainment users. Plus it will not break the bank at under 600 pounds! The Acer Aspire 2930 model we looked at (the Acer Aspire 2930-733G25MN with 3GB ram) comes with a more than respectable 250gb hard drive and uses the latest, state-of the-art processors (the Core 2 Duo P7350 2GHz). The screen is non too shabby a brilliant 12 inch Crystalbrite TFT panel and is complemented by all of the latest hardware components available to ensure maximum power.
Wifi is built in - we sould be shocked if it wernt, also Bluetooth is built in also - which is really a must, but not always included still.
Another bonus is the 5 in 1 card reader and fingerprint security. Also is the obligatory Integrated - 1 Megapixel camera.
Battery life is OK, but is just never enough. But it should do if you have periodic access to a plug socket
