eBooks have been around for the past 20 years, what makes the new ebook readers stand up and be counted is the fack they use eInk - not LCD screens. This means that there is no illumination from the screen and the ebook reader is as easy on the eye as a normal ebook
To give it it's full title the ebook reader is called a Sony PRS600S eBook Reader Touch Edition
Simplicity is Key, with just 5 buttons on the front of the reader.
The touch screen is intuitive and responsive, something that could be a big drawback on any touchscreen device.
The ebook reader is compatable with a number of formats, including the commonly used epub and pdf, it is not locked to a single format, so you can buy books from places like Waterstones.
BBeB® Book, TXT, RTF, Adobe® PDF and Microsoft Word files are all supported (conversion of Word documents to the Reader requires Microsoft Word installed on your PC).
The fact that TXT files are supported means that you can benefit from thousands of free classic titles from Project Guteberg.
The screen size is a good 6 inch and the resolution is perfect for quick response text.
Battery life is a good 7500 page turns, allowing you to read a good 10 full length novels on one charge.

Whilst others are messing about with the fiddly tiny little netbook laptops, here wa have a staple laptop, with a nice size screen - but is not too unweildly for travel.
The Sony VAIO NS20SS is from a brand you know you can trust the version we have here retails for under 550, but check out our price comaprison for the best / most up to date prices. The model we have has a Core 2 Duo T6400 2.14GHz processor, Vista Home Premium, 15.4" display, GMA 4500MHD 350MB Shared, 3GB RAM, 320GB HDD, DVD Supermulti, 802.11ABGN WiFi. I think the only thing lacking here is a blu ray player.
As expected there is an all important integrated 1.3 megapixel camera for instant messaging, 4 USB ports so for just about all users there will be no need to mess about with an external USB hub.
This Sony laptop is of fantastic construction, looks great and has everything under the hood that one can expect. A perfect #budget# laptop for home or business users.

The sony A200K is a good choice for entry into the worlds of Digital SLR (DSLR) still s cameras, for someone looking to movie away from the cheap and cheerful snappy style digital cameras.
This camera looks great aswell as handles well and is easy to use.
With a 10 megapixel CCD sensor the camera produces a fantastic qprint quality photo, that can be resized to poster size without fear of loss of clarity.
The camera handles low light very well, and can take sharp pictures in lower light levels without having to use a flash
This little marvel of a cmaera also features Enhanced Super SteadyShot image stabilisation which offers 2.5-3.5 steps anti-shake performance with all a-mount lenses

If you are moving into the DSLR world from standard digital cameras the Sony DSLR A200K is a wonderful starting point. As with any new tech there is a little bit of a learning curve for this camera, though instructions are comprehensive and controls are intuitive. The actual look of the camera is great, but the feel can be a little cheap or plastic. But for the price you are paying (under 250) this is a small compromise for something so powerful.
